Special Weather Statement issued June 11 at 8:26AM CDT by NWS Corpus Christi TX

At 826 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles east of Key Allegro, or 11 miles east of Rockport, moving
northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central
Aransas and south central Calhoun Counties.
