Special Weather Statement issued June 11 at 9:37PM CDT by NWS Jackson MS

At 936 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Crystal Springs to near Harrisville to
near Union. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near…
Whites, Harrisville, and Union around 940 PM CDT.
Braxton, Pinola, Star, and Piney Woods around 950 PM CDT.
Jackson around 955 PM CDT.
Florence around 1000 PM CDT.
D’Lo and Monterey around 1005 PM CDT.
Mendenhall and Cato around 1010 PM CDT.
