* Flash Flood Warning for…
Central Telfair County in central Georgia…
Central Wheeler County in central Georgia…

* Until 1130 PM EDT.

* At 832 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Emergency management reports flooding in the city of
Scotland.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
McRae, Alamo, Helena, Scotland, Jacksonville, Towns, Workmore,
Little Ocmulgee State Park and Spring Hill.
