Oklahoma…

Red River Near Dekalb affecting Red River, McCurtain and Bowie
Counties.

For the Red River…including Dekalb…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Red River near Dekalb.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 27.0 feet, Flooding of some two thousand acres of
flood plain occur. Ranchers should move livestock and equipment to
higher ground. Moderate to severe bank erosion occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 24.9 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 22.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:00 PM CDT Thursday was 25.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 26.7
feet early Sunday morning.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
