Garcitas Creek Near Inez affecting Victoria County.

For the Garcitas Creek…including Inez…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Garcitas Creek near Inez.

* WHEN…Until early Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 20.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding of crop and
pasturland occurs. Secondary roads and bridges begin to flood.
Livestock begin to become isolated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.0 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
just after midnight tonight to a crest of 21.0 feet by early
Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday
morning.
– Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
