At 811 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was over Dubois, or 7 miles
southeast of Cochran, moving north at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Up to 40 mph wind, pea sized hail and frequent cloud to
ground lightning.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect minor damage to tree limbs and blowing around of
light, unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Cochran, Chester, Dubois, Coley Station, Gresston, Empire, Yonkers,
Roddy, Baileys Park, Rowland, Royal, Goldsboro, Rebie, and Cary.

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control has issued a code orange air quality alert Sunday for New Castle County. A code orange air quality alert means that air pollution concentrations within the region may become unhealthy for sensitive groups. Sensitive groups include children...people suffering from asthma... heart disease or other lung diseases...and the elderly.
