A strong storm system lifts from the North Pacific into the
Bering Sea Friday morning tracking to the west of the Pribilof
Islands by late Friday afternoon into the evening. Strong
southeast winds will continue to increase along the southern
Alaska Peninsula tonight; especially through Cold Bay. Strongest
wind gusts, up to 65 mph, will occur between late Friday morning
through the early evening hours. Confidence is low for wind gusts
to reach 75 mph or greater. Winds will begin to diminish
