Flood Warning issued June 13 at 7:45AM CDT until June 14 at 7:45AM CDT by NWS Aberdeen SD

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of northeast South Dakota, including the
following county, Marshall.

* WHEN…Until 745 AM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 741 AM CDT, many areas remain under water from the heavy
rain that fell last night. Doppler radar indicated heavy rain
due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the
warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Newport Colony, Eden, Fort Sisseton State Park, Cattail Lake,
Opitz Lake, Roy Lake Rec Area, Clear Lake Rec Area, Red Iron
Housing, Piyas Lake, Amherst, Buffalo Lakes and western Lake
Traverse Reservation.
