Special Weather Statement issued June 13 at 11:41PM CDT by NWS North Platte NE

At 1140 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking outflow winds ahead of
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 13 miles southwest
of Tryon to 8 miles west of Lake Maloney State Recreation Area to
near Hayes Center. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
North Platte, Curtis, Stapleton, Hayes Center, Sutherland, Hershey,
Arnold, Brady, Wallace, Maxwell, Wellfleet, Moorefield, Gandy,
Stockville, Dickens, Lake Maloney State Recreation Area, Sutherland
Reservoir State Recreation Area, North Platte Airport, Keith, and
Maywood.

This includes the following highways…
Highway 92 between mile markers 217 and 249.
Highway 97 between mile markers 1 and 23.
Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 153 and 207.
Highway 83 between mile markers 27 and 114.
