Special Weather Statement issued June 14 at 1:14AM CDT by NWS Midland/Odessa TX

At 112 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of rain showers
over Dawson and Borden counties, moving east at 25 mph. Area mesonet
observations are still indicating wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph with
these showers.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Lamesa, Ackerly, Gail, Lamesa Municipal Airport, Luther, J B Thomas
Reservoir, Los Ybanez, Sparenberg, Vincent, Punkin Center, Patricia,
Arvana, Hancock, Tenmile, Knott, Vealmoor, Key, and Klondike.

Air Quality Alert issued June 14 at 3:45PM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control has issued a code orange air quality alert Sunday for New Castle County. A code orange air quality alert means that air pollution concentrations within the region may become unhealthy for sensitive groups. Sensitive groups include children...people suffering from asthma... heart disease or other lung diseases...and the elderly. The Delaware Department of Environmental Protection has issued a Code Red Air Quality Action Day for Fine Particulates, until midnight EDT tonight. An Air Quality Action Day means that air quality within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards.
