Fire Weather Watch issued June 14 at 3:08PM AKDT until June 18 at 1:00AM AKDT by NWS Fairbanks AK

The National Weather Service in Fairbanks has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for lightning, which is in effect from Tuesday
afternoon through late Tuesday night.

* AFFECTED AREA…Middle Yukon Valley, Lower Yukon and Innoko
Valleys and Upper Kuskokwim Valley.

* TIMING…From 1 PM Tuesday to 1 AM AKDT Wednesday.

* THUNDERSTORM COVERAGE…Numerous thunderstorms.

* WINDS…West 5 to 10 mph.

* HUMIDITY…As low as 30 percent.

* TEMPERATURES…Highs in the lower 80s.

* IMPACTS…Rapid ignition, growth and spread of fires will be
possible. Frequent lightning can promote new fire starts. Hot
and dry conditions may lead to rapid spread of fires.
