Flood Warning issued June 14 at 9:24PM EDT until June 15 at 4:16PM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following waterways in
Indiana…

White River at Hazleton.

Wildcat Creek near Jerome, near Lafayette, and at Kokomo.

Wabash River at Montezuma.

.Rainfall amounts of 3 to 5 inches across portions of central
Indiana are producing minor flooding along area creeks and rivers.
Flooding along Wildcat Creek and Wabash River will be brief, with
crests within a couple feet of flood stage. Flooding along the
White River is expected to end by noon Sunday.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Wildcat Creek at Kokomo.

* WHEN…Until tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 12.0 feet, Wildcat Creek overflowing in parks in the
Kokomo area. Flooding of agricultural land possible outside of
Kokomo.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 11.3 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 PM EDT Saturday was 11.5 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.8
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage late tomorrow morning.
– Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
