Special Weather Statement issued June 14 at 9:29PM CDT by NWS Des Moines IA

At 929 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Jewell Junction, or 9 miles southeast of Webster City, moving
southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Jewell Junction, Ellsworth, Stanhope, Kamrar, and Randall.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 130 and 137.
