Special Weather Statement issued June 15 at 12:08AM MDT by NWS Rapid City SD

At 1208 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles north of Maurine, or 27 miles west of Faith, moving east at 15
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of south central
Perkins County.
