Flash Flood Warning issued June 17 at 9:32AM CDT until June 17 at 11:00AM CDT by NWS Jackson MS

At 932 AM CDT, the public reported flash flooding in Bastrop and
Collinston. Between 5 and 7 inches of rain have fallen, especially
in southern Morehouse and northern Franklin Parishes. Additional
rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area.
Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE…Public reported.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Bastrop, Rayville, Epps, Collinston, Oak Ridge, Warden, Darnell,
Monticello and Start.
