Flood Advisory issued June 16 at 10:10PM EDT until June 17 at 1:15AM EDT by NWS Jackson KY

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall are expected.

* WHERE…A portion of southeast Kentucky, including the following
county, Jackson.

* WHEN…Until 115 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1010 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
McKee, Gray Hawk, Privett, Mildred, Atkinstown, Tyner, Zekes
Point, Bradshaw, Mummie, Herd, Olin, Macedonia, Maulden,
Elian and Nathanton.
