Warning for the following rivers in South Dakota…

Little Minnesota River near Peever affecting Roberts County.

.For sites with a river forecast, the forecast includes
precipitation through the next 24 hours. Any future precipitation
could affect the forecasts.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Little Minnesota River near Peever.

* WHEN…From this morning to early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 17.0 feet, Left bank below gage begins flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 10:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 17.1 feet and rising
very slowly.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 AM CDT Monday was 17.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
just after midnight tonight and continue falling to 11.8 feet
Monday, June 23.
– Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
