Hyde, Martin, Northern Outer Banks, Pitt, Tyrrell and Washington.
* WHEN…Until 2 AM EDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Extensive
street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– Scattered thunderstorms are expected to continue this
evening, diminishing through the night. Where storms are more
persistent, 2 to 4 inches of rainfall is possible. The
combination of recent rainfall, new rainfall, and excessive
rainfall rates is expected to support an isolated risk of
flooding and flash flooding this evening.
