Flood Advisory issued June 18 at 9:21AM CDT until June 18 at 12:30PM CDT by NWS Norman OK

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Portions of central, east central, and southeast Oklahoma,
including the following counties, in central Oklahoma,
Pottawatomie. In east central Oklahoma, Pontotoc and Seminole. In
southeast Oklahoma, Coal and Hughes.

* WHEN…Until 1230 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 921 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Shawnee, Seminole, Tecumseh, Holdenville, Wewoka, Konawa,
Wetumka, Maud, Allen, Earlsboro, Bowlegs, Dustin, Francis,
Calvin, Cromwell, Johnson, Stuart, St. Louis, Lamar and
Sasakwa.
