Arkansas River at Arkansas City affecting Cowley County.

Arkansas River at Oxford affecting Sumner County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Arkansas River at Arkansas City.

* WHEN…From Wednesday morning to Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…At 14.0 feet, The Water Plant takes precautions on water
well pump houses west of the Arkansas River.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 8.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
tomorrow morning to a crest of 14.2 feet Thursday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage early Saturday morning.
– Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
