Fire Weather Watch issued June 18 at 2:26PM MDT until June 22 at 12:00AM MDT by NWS Grand Junction CO

The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a Red
Flag Warning for gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry
fuels, which is in effect from noon to 8 PM MDT Thursday. A Fire
Weather Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch for
gusty winds, low relative humidity and dry fuels is in effect
from Friday morning through Friday evening, as well as from
Saturday morning through Saturday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA…In Colorado, Fire Weather Zone 200 Little
Snake Forecast Area, Fire Weather Zone 202 White River
Forecast Area, Fire Weather Zone 207 Southwest Colorado Lower
Forecast Area, Fire Weather Zone 290 Paradox Valley Forecast
Area, Fire Weather Zone 292 North Fork Forecast Area and Fire
Weather Zone 294 Southwest Colorado Upper West Forecast Area.
In Utah, Fire Weather Zone 486 Eastern Uinta Basin, Fire
Weather Zone 487 Book Cliffs, Fire Weather Zone 490 Colorado
River Basin and Fire Weather Zone 491 Southeast Utah.

* TIMING…For the Red Flag Warning, from noon to 8 PM MDT
Thursday. For the first Fire Weather Watch, from Friday
morning through Friday evening. For the second Fire Weather
Watch, from Saturday morning through Saturday evening.

* WINDS…For the Red Flag Warning on Thursday, southwest winds 15
to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph. For the Fire Weather Watches on
Friday and Saturday, south winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to
50 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY…3 to 8 percent.

* IMPACTS…Fires will catch and spread quickly. Exercise
extreme caution with any outdoor burning.
