Flash Flood Warning issued June 19 at 7:34AM CDT until June 19 at 9:00AM CDT by NWS Huntsville AL

At 734 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across portions of northwest Limestone, east central Colbert,
eastern Lauderdale, and northeast Lawrence counties. Between 1 and 3
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Radar.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Florence, Muscle Shoals, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Rogersville,
Killen, Lexington, St. Florian, Underwood-Petersville, Anderson,
Center Star, Elgin, Kingtown, Ford City, Red Bank, Green Hill,
Whitehead, Northwest Alabama Regional Airport, Oliver and Zip City.
