Flood Advisory issued June 19 at 3:41PM EDT until June 19 at 5:00PM EDT by NWS Tampa Bay Ruskin FL

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Portions of central and west central Florida, including
the following counties, in central Florida, Polk. In west central
Florida, Hillsborough.

* WHEN…Until 500 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 341 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Lakeland, Plant City, Lakeland Linder Airport, Medulla, Plant
City Airport, Winston and Dover.
