Flood Warning issued June 18 at 11:10PM EDT until June 19 at 11:00AM EDT by NWS Buffalo NY

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of western New York, including the following
county, Monroe. Flooding is ongoing through Ellison Park along the
Irondequoit Creek.

* WHEN…Until 1100 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1103 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain from recent thunderstorms has totaled 3
to 4 inches within the Irondequoit Creek Basin. Flooding is
already occurring in the warned area, including through the
Ellison Park. Rising waters may also impact the areas around
Blossom Road.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Ellison Park, Irondequoit, East Rochester, Fairport,
Brighton, Penfield and Pittsford.
