* WHAT…Temperatures up to 80 expected.

* WHERE…Klukwan and the Haines Highway.

* WHEN…From 1 PM to 7 PM AKDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Individuals not accustomed to these unusually hot
temperatures for this region may experience heat related
illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Temperatures near Klukwan and along
higher elevations of the Haines highway will reach
temperatures near 80 degrees F. The city of Haines will not
get as warm due to sea breezes, but temperatures into the mid
70s are still expected.
