Flood Warning issued June 19 at 8:02PM CDT until June 20 at 9:18PM CDT by NWS Norman OK

…The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Oklahoma…

Cimarron River near Ripley affecting Payne County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Cimarron River near Ripley.

* WHEN…Until late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, Places along the Cimarron River valley in
Payne County are briefly flooded to depths of about a foot.
Agricultural lands and oil wells located near the river banks are
inundated or cut off by water in side channels.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 18.4 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
– Forecast…The Cimarron River is expected to rise to a crest
of 18.5 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall
below flood stage tomorrow afternoon.
– Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
