* WHAT…For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 106
expected. The warmest day is expected to be Saturday.

* WHERE…Portions of north central Kansas and south central
Nebraska.

* WHEN…For the Heat Advisory, from noon Friday to midnight CDT
Saturday Night. For the Extreme Heat Watch, from late Saturday
night through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS…Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
humidity may cause heat illnesses.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Overnight low temperatures will fall no lower
than the upper 70s, providing limited relief from the heat. Steady
south winds may provide some relief for those outdoors, but
dehydration and heat-related illnesses remain possible even in the
windy conditions.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Minor flooding due to heavy rainfall is possible.
