* WHAT…West winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE…Portions of northern New York and parts of northern and
central Vermont, especially the east side of the Adirondacks and
Green Mountains.

* WHEN…Until 2 PM EDT this afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and scattered power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The core of the strongest winds will occur
between 5 AM and Noon on Friday across the advisory area.
