Neches River Near Diboll affecting Angelina, Trinity and Polk
Counties.

Neches River Near Neches affecting Anderson and Cherokee Counties.

For the Neches River…including Neches, Alto, Diboll, Rockland…
Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Neches River near Alto.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, Expect moderate to severe flooding of the
heavily wooded floodplain. Boat ramps and picnic areas will be
completely inundated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:15 PM CDT Friday the stage was 18.4 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 8:15 PM CDT Friday was 18.6 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall to 17.0 feet
Wednesday evening.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
18.3 feet on 04/24/2020.
