California out to 10 NM.

* WHEN…For the first Gale Warning, until 3 AM PDT Saturday.
For the second Gale Warning, from 3 PM Saturday to 3 AM PDT
Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

FEMA Authorizes Funds to Fight Upper Applegate Road Fire in Oregon BOTHELL, Wash. - The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) authorized the use of federal funds to help with firefighting costs for the Upper Applegate Road Fire burning in Jackson County, Oregon. The state of Oregon’s request for a declaration under FEMA’s Fire Management Assistance Grant (FMAG) program was approved by FEMA Region 10 Acting Administrator Vincent J. Maykovich on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 8:49 p.m. PT. He determined that the Upper Applegate Road Fire threatened to cause such destruction as would constitute a major disaster. This is the third FMAG declaration

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 214. * TIMING...From 9 AM this morning to 9 PM MDT this evening. * WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. * RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 7 percent. * IMPACTS...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread. Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a spark and start a wildfire.
