* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Kidder County in south central North Dakota…
Eastern Burleigh County in south central North Dakota…
Logan County in southeastern North Dakota…
Northeastern Emmons County in south central North Dakota…
Western Stutsman County in southeastern North Dakota…

* Until 1030 PM CDT.

* At 940 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles southwest of Wing to 8 miles southeast of
Sterling to 7 miles southeast of Hazelton, moving east at 60 mph.

THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS!

HAZARD…90 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris
may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile
homes will be heavily damaged or destroyed. Homes and
businesses will have substantial roof and window damage.
Expect extensive tree damage and power outages.

* Locations impacted include…
Linton, Napoleon, Steele, Gackle, Medina, Hazelton, Tappen,
Streeter, Wing, Sterling, Cleveland, Tuttle, Lehr, Pettibone,
Dawson, Woodworth, Regan, Robinson, Braddock, and Lake Isabel.

President Donald J. Trump Increases Federal Cost Share for West Virginia WASHINGTON -- Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Administrator, David Richardson, announced that President Donald J. Trump made additional disaster assistance available to the state of West Virginia to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by a severe storm, straight-line winds, flooding, landslides and mudslides from Feb. 15-18, 2025. The President authorized the federal cost-share to be increased from 75% to 90% for applicable categories of public assistance. The major disaster declaration approved on February 26, 2025, made federal funding available for public assistance, hazard mitigation and other needs
