* WHAT…For the Heat Advisory, afternoon heat index values are
expected to be bewteen 102 and 107 degrees. For the Wind Advisory,
south winds 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph expected.

* WHERE…Portions of central, east central, north central, and
northeast Kansas.

* WHEN…For the Heat Advisory, until 8 PM CDT Saturday. For the
Wind Advisory, from 10 AM to 8 PM CDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Hot
temperatures and high humidity may cause heat cramps, heat
exhaustion, and even heat stroke.
