* WHAT…Snow expected above 7500 feet elevation. Total snow
accumulations up to 8 inches. Below 7500 feet elevation, expect
snow up to 3 inches.

* WHERE…Big Lost Highlands/Copper Basin, Challis/Pahsimeroi
Valleys, Frank Church Wilderness, Lost River Range,
Sawtooth/Stanley Basin, and Sun Valley Region.

* WHEN…From midnight tonight to 6 PM MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. Wait for melting to
develop to reduce the risk. Those in the outdoors expecting to be
above 6500 feet elevation should be ready for winter conditions,
with three inches or more above the 7500 foot elevation.

Monday is the Deadline for Vermonters to Apply for Federal Assistance Vermonters affected by July’s severe storms, flooding, landslides, and mudslides have until 10 p.m. on Monday, November 25 to apply for federal disaster assistance, which may include FEMA grants to repair homes and replace property.  For the storms that took place July 9-11, residents in the designated counties of Addison, Caledonia, Chittenden, Essex, Lamoille, Orleans and Washington are eligible to apply. For the July 29-31 storms, those in the designated counties of Caledonia, Essex and Orleans can apply.  Vermonters affected by both July storms must submit separate applications for each event.

Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2   Meteorological Summary: Typical summertime weather pattern continues across the Sunshine State, with scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Isolated to widely scattered afternoon thunderstorms expected along the Florida Panhandle (40-55% chance of rain). More widespread rain and thunderstorm chances develop across the Florida Peninsula, west of I-95 corridor (55-75%). Thunderstorms may become strong to severe and capable of producing gusty winds (40-60 mph), frequent lightning, and heavy downpours. Slow-moving thunderstorms may lead to instances of nuisance flooding and ponding water , especially for usual trouble spots
