* WHAT…Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 102.

* WHERE…In Minnesota, Crow Wing, Aitkin, Pine, Cass, and South
Itasca Counties. In Wisconsin, Price, Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett,
Douglas, Iron, Sawyer, and Washburn Counties. This includes the
Tribal Lands of the Red Cliff Band, the Bad River Reservation, the
St. Croix Band in Burnett County, the northwestern area of the Lac
du Flambeau Band, the Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation and the
Mille Lacs Band, Big Sandy Lake, Hinckley, Lena Lake and, East
Lake areas. Other locations including the Apostle Islands National
Lakeshore and Madeline Island.

* WHEN…Until 9 PM CDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS…Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.
