Arkansas…

Cache River Near Patterson affecting Jackson and Woodruff
Counties.

For the Cache River…including Patterson…elevated river levels
are forecast.

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE…Cache River near Patterson.

* WHEN…Until further notice.

* IMPACTS…At 8.0 feet, Low swampy timberland along the river
begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 7.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.5
feet Wednesday morning.
– Action stage is 8.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

At 1035 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13 miles east of St. Marks, moving northwest at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Woodville, Newport, Goose Pasture, Hells Half Acre, Fanlew, Natural Bridge, and Cabbage Grove.
