…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Kentucky…

Green River at Woodbury affecting Butler and Warren Counties.

Green River at Rochester affecting Butler, Muhlenberg and Ohio
Counties.

.Rivers steadily are falling after the heavier rains a few days ago.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Green River at Woodbury.

* WHEN…Until late tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS…At 26.0 feet, KY 403 at James McKinney Bridge floods.
Water overflows lock wall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 6:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 26.9 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 24.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 6:00 PM CDT Saturday was 28.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Sunday morning and continue falling to 15.2 feet early
Thursday afternoon.
– Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
26.6 feet on 03/11/2019.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt continues. * WHERE...the Yentna and Skwentna Rivers and other nearby tributaries. * WHEN...Until 1000 PM AKDT Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 424 PM AKDT, temperatures across the region have moderated some, but snowmelt at higher elevations of the Western Alaska Range is still leading to higher water levels across much of the Susitna Valley, especially along the Yentna and Skwentna Rivers. * WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt and channel shift. * WHERE...Matanuska River near Butte, AK. * WHEN...Until noon AKDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 817 AM AKDT, Warm temperatures and bank erosion have led to high water breaking through the banks of the Matanuska River between the Old Glenn Highway and the River in the Maud Road area. Water levels are expected to be near peak levels Saturday evening and then very slowly recede over the next few days as temperatures drop and lessens the snow melt in the mountains upriver.
