Flood Advisory issued June 22 at 11:55PM CDT until June 23 at 5:00AM CDT by NWS North Platte NE

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of north central Nebraska, including the
following counties, Blaine, Garfield, Holt, Loup and Rock.

* WHEN…Until 500 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1155 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Amelia, Fox Bayou and Almeria Meadow State Wildlife
Management Area.
