Special Weather Statement issued June 22 at 8:30PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

At 830 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 24
miles east of Hagerman, or 37 miles east of Roswell, moving east at
10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include…
Mainly rural areas of East Central Chaves County.

This includes Highway 380 between Mile Markers 195 and 200.
