Extreme Heat Warning issued June 23 at 10:10PM EDT until June 25 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Wilmington NC

* WHAT…For the Heat Advisory, heat index values up to 94. For the
Extreme Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions with heat index
values up to 109 expected.

* WHERE…Bladen, Columbus, Inland Brunswick, Inland New Hanover,
Inland Pender, and Robeson Counties.

* WHEN…For the Heat Advisory, until 10 AM EDT Tuesday. For the
Extreme Heat Warning, from 10 AM Tuesday to 8 PM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high
humidity may cause heat illnesses.
