The National Weather Service in El Paso Tx/Santa Teresa has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Southwestern Dona Ana in south central New Mexico…

* Until 1030 PM MDT.

* At 828 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the rural desert area south of I-10 and west of
the Mesilla Valley. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of arroyos and roads across rural
