Flash Flood Warning issued June 24 at 8:31AM CDT until June 24 at 12:15PM CDT by NWS Des Moines IA

At 831 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 7 inches of rain have
fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1.5 inches in 1 hour.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area. Although reports of flooded roads have not yet been
received, flooding of them may occur over the next few hours as
water continues draining into area streams.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Leon, Mount Ayr, Corning, Bedford, Lamoni, Lenox, Sun Valley Lake,
New Market, Clearfield, Diagonal, Kellerton, Grand River, Van
Wert, Lineville, Davis City, Decatur, Blockton, Gravity, Tingley
and Nodaway.
