* At 938 AM CDT, the transportation department reported flash
flooding across the warned area. Several roads are closed in much
of Nodaway, Worth, Gentry, and Harrison counties. Many small
streams and creeks are flooded, and larger rivers are approaching
bankfull. Between 2.5 and 7 inches of rain have fallen. Flash
flooding is expected to continue for the next several hours.
HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
