Flood Warning issued June 23 at 10:01PM CDT until June 24 at 10:00AM CDT by NWS Dodge City KS

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Portions of south central and southwest Kansas, including
the following counties, in south central Kansas, Pawnee. In
southwest Kansas, Hodgeman.

* WHEN…Until 1000 AM CDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS…Several county roads in the area have been reported
impassable due to washouts from flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 956 PM CDT, trained weather spotters and the public
reported flooding in the warned area due to thunderstorms
Monday evening. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen,
and areal flooding is expected to persist through Tuesday
morning, especially in vicinity of Saw Log Creek, Sawmill
Creek, and Buckner Creek.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Gray, Burdett, Hanston, Rozel and Sanford.
