Extreme Heat Warning issued June 24 at 7:59PM EDT until June 25 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS State College PA

* WHAT…Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values over 105
degrees for the Lower Susquehanna Valley.

* WHERE…Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon,
Perry, and York Counties.

* WHEN…Until 8 PM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…The highest heat index will occur in the
urban valley locations. Temperatures in the 70s overnight will
provide little if any relief.
