Flood Advisory issued June 25 at 12:16AM CDT until June 25 at 4:15AM CDT by NWS North Platte NE

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of north central Nebraska, including the
following counties, Brown, Cherry and Keya Paha.

* WHEN…Until 415 AM CDT /315 AM MDT/.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1216 AM CDT /1116 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas
will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and
2 inches of rain have fallen.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Valentine, Norden, Crookston, Smith Falls State Park, Sparks,
Highway 97 crossing the Niobrara River and North River Trail.
