Flood Advisory issued June 26 at 12:36AM EDT until June 26 at 3:45AM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of central North Carolina, including the
following counties, Edgecombe, Nash and Wilson.

* WHEN…Until 345 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1236 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Rocky Mount, Nashville, Wilson, Elm City, Dortches, Bailey,
Red Oak, Sharpsburg, Pinetops, Spring Hope, Lucama,
Middlesex, Stantonsburg, Black Creek, Macclesfield, Saratoga,
Sims, Castalia, Tar River Reservoir and New Hope.
