For the Sabine River…including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater,
Longview, Beckville, Logansport…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Sabine River near Gladewater.

* WHEN…Until Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 29.0 feet, Expect lowland flooding to continue with
oil field operations curtailed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:15 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 29.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:15 PM CDT Wednesday was 30.2 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Friday afternoon and continue falling to 17.9 feet Monday
evening.
– Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
29.1 feet on 03/08/1983.
