…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Texas…

Sabine River At Longview affecting Harrison and Gregg Counties.

For the Sabine River…including Mineola, Hawkins, Gladewater,
Longview, Beckville, Logansport…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Sabine River at Longview.

* WHEN…Until Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 28.0 feet, Lowland flooding will continue for several
days. Oil field operations will be curtailed and timber resources
will suffer severe flooding. Fisherman should use caution as
currents are swift.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 27.1 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 27.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early Saturday afternoon and continue falling to 19.1 feet
Monday evening.
– Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
27.2 feet on 01/22/1991.

Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam affecting Johnson, Franklin and Logan Counties. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 355.5 feet, the river remains in its banks, but access to Okane Island may be cut off. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 355.6 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 355.7 feet this afternoon, then fluctuate between 355.2 to 355.7 feet until further notice.
