Flood Warning issued June 26 at 7:48AM CDT until June 26 at 11:00AM CDT by NWS Huntsville AL

* WHAT…Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Portions of Alabama, including the following counties,
Lawrence and Limestone and southern middle Tennessee, including
the following county, Lincoln.

* WHEN…Until 1100 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 748 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned
area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in
the warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Athens, Ardmore, Town Creek, Courtland, North Courtland,
Hillsboro, Elkmont, Cartwright, Cairo, Leggtown, Ripley, Mt
Rozell, Coxey, Holland Gin, Wheeler, Cash Point, Red Bank,
Blanche, Dellrose and Taft.
