* WHAT…Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE…Mud Creek at Sweetwater.
* WHEN…From this morning to late tomorrow evening.
* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, There will be widespread lowland flooding
and Highway 68 access to Ravenna will be under water. In addition,
water may encroach on Highway 2 between Hazard and Sweetwater.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 7:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 18.3 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:45 AM CDT Thursday was 18.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.9
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late
tonight.
